Useful For
Test screen includes Acetaminophen, Ethanol and Salicylate blood tests. Pathologist approval is not needed. This screen should only be ordered when a rapid result is required to make decisions affecting patient care. ​

Collection Processing Instructions
Alcohol, Acetaminophen and Salicylate can be either serum or plasma.
Plasma/Serum must be separated from cells within 2 hours of collection.
If using gel separator tubes (PST or SST), remove from gel within 1 hour of separation.
