This semi-quantitative test is useful for monitoring therapy in patients known to have syphilis. It does not include confirmatory testing of a positive result by a second method as recommended by the CDC. Order Syphilis Antibody, IgG/IgM (SYPHAB) as the primary syphilis diagnostic test​.
