Use Anora kit.
The blood sample is helpful to rule out maternal cell contamination. Tissue and patient samples should be placed in saline, not formalin, and they should be shipped to Natera as soon as possible. Tissue samples should be stored in the refrigerator (not frozen) until the next shipping day. The blood tube (EDTA purple top tube) can also be stored in the refrigerator until shipping. Ship at ambient temperature, blood and tissue. DO NOT freeze.
Tissue collection tip:
Separate chorionic villi from blood clots and decidua to include only chorionic villi to reduce chance of maternal cell contamination. Refer to tissue sorting and sample collection instructions included in the kit. Sorting samples is however not required.
Cord blood samples should be drawn into an EDTA (LTT), and the tube should be labeled as "cord/fetal blood". Cord tissue or fetal skin can be placed in the saline POC cup provided with the Anora kit.
